Terms of Service

limit.md provides a policy engine API and dashboard that allows developers to define rules governing AI agent financial actions. The Service evaluates actions against your defined policies and returns decisions. It does not execute trades, manage accounts, or provide financial advice.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using limit.md, you represent that you meet these requirements.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at hello@limit.md.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or circumvent the policy engine.
• Use the Service to facilitate market manipulation, fraud, or money laundering.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.
• Exceed the rate limits or usage quotas for your plan.
• Introduce malicious code or conduct attacks on our infrastructure.

limit.md is a software tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Policy decisions returned by the API are based solely on the rules you configure — they do not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for the financial decisions made by your agents.

Free plan access is provided at no charge, subject to usage limits. Paid plans (Builder, Enterprise) are billed monthly. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Failure to pay may result in service suspension.

The Service and its underlying technology are owned by limit.md, Inc. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service under these Terms. You retain ownership of your data and agent configurations.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT POLICY DECISIONS WILL PREVENT ALL UNINTENDED FINANCIAL ACTIONS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, limit.md, Inc. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless limit.md, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your agents' financial actions.

You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing hello@limit.md. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or dashboard notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
